I don't know if you saw this, but you were the fastest woman on this course!

Yeah well I did kind of have the advantage of starting behind a bunch of people since I kind of screwed up the set up...but yeah! This was definitely my best race of the weekend!

Congrats! Sounds like a great weekend! I'm jealous... I haven't been able to get much O in due to all the snow in the Boston area. I can't wait for Arizona!

Thanks! I'm looking forward to Arizona too! It should be some good training, and the warmer weather will definitely be nice too!

Congrats! You were really speedy! I had a pretty clean run too, and you were still faster. It was nice getting to know you better over the weekend! :-)

Whoops, I just checked the results, and it looks like you were 3rd in that last race. Gina was reading the results on her phone in the car and said you were fastest. Still, though, it was a good run!

Yeah they changed the results. Originally my time was 19:11 and now it's 20:10. I think the time on my splits slip was like 19:35 ish so I don't really know what was going on with that. I was still happy I finally had a clean run and managed to make up a lot of time!

I don't really know what was going on with that.

I can at least explain the paper receipt!

Because you were in the chase, you didn't punch the start, so your SI stick's first punch was at #1. The SI stick itself is pretty dumb, it's just plastic with a chip, so it doesn't know what time you started (only the computer does). So the SI stick starts counting from 0:00 when you punch #1. So your 19:35 was the time from #1 to the Finish. The printer required a separate stick download, and was not connected to the master computer, so the printer didn't know what time you started, either, and it just printed out what the SI stick had, which was 19:35.

Since I wasn't in the chase, I punched a start box, so my receipt was correct. The other minute adjustment (from 19:11 to 20:10) may have been something else, but I don't know what.
