Discussion: MNOC - Wirth - Red - Route Choice

1. Can I be a serious orienteer if I circled clockwise around the marsh after control 3 on Red Map One to avoid getting my feet wet early in the race?

2. What do you think was the best route from control 3 to 4 on Red Map Two?

3. Is this the right forum to discuss this sort of thing?

BTW, I ended up waist deep in that marsh

Waist deep?!? That sounds entertaining... Maybe at the next event I will set up a lawn chair next to an obligatory crossable marsh and just watch the show, instead of sweating through the course ;-)
