Once SFO is under water, it will be more difficult to get to the Golden Gate sprint tournament.

Well Global Warming giveth extra land in the Swiss Alps...and taketh it away in the SF Bay Area. Seems to me that overall, land loss will exceed land gain, by a considerable margin. Can orienteers really enjoy this equation?

Climate is one thing but weather is another. Back in 2010 we were all set for a fantastic event way up Whistler Mountain. That year a cold summer kept the winter snow from melting. The event was cancelled/ moved.
CH better keep their options open.

An additional dimension for orienteering. Conditions that vary with time in a predictable way. Example, tides. Example (urban rogaine) being able to use scheduled public transport. Example, score controls worth different amounts at different times. Of course use of daylight/darkness in a 24hr rogaine. Global warming in the game of life.
