Emma is being rather ambitious, 6 sprints, first one mid-Dec. 2 at the biathlon park, rest at Goldbar. I think one at Capilano makes sense.

Looking at using those wee rolling hills by the lake and maybe that bowl section as well. It might be turned into a terrain park with jumps and thus be out.

Split between skate, classic and at least one relay (part of the Silver Skate). One might become a 5km rather than a sprint.

We even have a poster already!

Ha! Throw the terrain park into the race. Why not?

Also, be warned that the Silver Skate may not be at Hawrelak. Since they're tearing up the lake over the winter for the triathlon, they're only putting in a mini-rink in one part of the park. Apparently the festival is in talks with moving it to St. Albert.

Maybe you could talk to that groomer guy you met and we could hold on at Victoria golf course. That could be cool.
