happily take an untidy 38 pts at the moment if you have any to spare? Pleased to read you like the direction your game is heading. Not the case for me at present!

StK66 - this may sound like a dumb question but do you do any practise or get some coaching for golf? Not sure if watching young Mr Scott on the TV counts as coaching.

Ha ha! Grant, for some reason golfers seem to be reluctant to have lessons! Probably because we are scared the coach/pro would either laugh at us or suggest we take up lawn bowls!!

Russ not sure I'm happy with direction my game is going but I think I have some idea what I need to do. Just need to work out how to do it. Maybe a lesson....

I have had two lessons this year, usually when I have enough credit on the card in the Pro Shop. First lesson the Pro just had a look at my swing and equipment for my swing. Main message was turn, then hit. Second lesson was on chipping and pitching. I rarely have less than 36 putts! I need a putting lesson probably, but I still get enough putts in to think my technique can't be too bad. The issue is distance control for sure. My short game is destroying me. I know where I have to do the work, but I just don't practice enough, and now it is getting me between the ears!

Practice is definitely the key to the game and I don't really do any...
