I am convinced the cycling helps with the running....keep it up!!!Are you doing Berryman? IF so GOOD LUCK!!! also if you think of it will you remind me to sign up for the spring race nex tyear.......the spring long distance race you did...can't remember the name......???thanks...

The cycling may help w/ running. I do believe its good cross training that gives the parts that are overstressed by running a break and a stretch. But I cycle because I use a bicycle to get around and I enjoy riding. It wouldnt be practical for me to run the distances I bike. For you, maybe!

Double Chubb - thats a long way off, I'll try to remember!

You'll like it, I hope. Never have done the second-out-and-back for the double. Maybe the second feels tame after the first.

I think I've quit having races - whatever is, is. Thinking like this relaxes me and lets me enjoy what I'm doing more.

Maybe you could do both loops next year after taking some time off racing...I don't have many races left this season either.....events to enjoy but little racing.....celebrate and enjoy the fact that we can do them!!!!!!!!!!!!
