Hammer:
Adventure Running X athletes hosted the annual HPP fundraiser at Camp Canterbury Hills last week. After ARX expenses the total profit for Orienteering Canada's High Performance Program was $800.

ARX and ARK Attack athletes were inspired by the many top performances at Nationals and several are keen to try to make Canada's Jr. Team in the near future. The athletes took that first step at Canterbury last night for some post-Nationals race analysis (notice in the photo below that Attack Point is open on the computer). :-)

Thanks to all that took part in our Canada's Greatest Know It All Challenge HPP fundraiser and a special thank you to Alex Kerr (GVOC) for the largest donation to the HPP.

Thank you to Mike and all the ARX athletes and coaches for making this happen!

I'm sure I speak for all the High Performance Program athletes in saying that your efforts and the resulting donation is much appreciated! Sitting on the High Performance Committee I can definitely say that it's a significant contribution to our budget and helps us fund the coaches and team leaders necessary for what we do.

I wish I could have been at the event on Friday morning! Unfortunately the timing didn't work out. Perhaps if I was uninjured and could have actually run on the weekend I would have made more of an effort to make it down early for the fundraiser. It would have been so cool to meet more of Canada's future stars!

Thanks guys - sorry I couldn't make it (car-less :-( ) - looks like it would have been fun - I watched that Greatest Know It All episode, so it would have been fun to take a try at it!
