Well done Matt - that is a fantastic, speedy time. Happy recovery:)
I love that you are talking about minutes per km pace - your passport is in the mail!
Great stuff! Now you never have to do another one...or do you?
Thanks guys - certainly no intention to do another at this stage! Tbh Gareth, I'm thinking i might start using a '10th of a marathon' unit from now on for simplicity.
Nice write-up Matt and great effort - based on this run you should write a book called say "the loneliness of the long distance runner".
Awesome run! Loneliness doesn't sound fun tho. Found with marathons the people make it so much less boring.
Great report, loved reading it. I'm amazed there were so few runners around your pace, not what I'd expect at Melbourne.
Does look lonely, even when you have someone finish 20 secs in front, and 3 secs behind

Quality. Well run mate, even more so given how lonely it must have been. There's more to come with a deeper field.
Great run Matt. Bet that felt amazing smashing out the km's in those times, congratulations!
Top jogging Cranemeister.
Good running (& writeup) Craney. I also could never make the switch to mile times over kms when I was trying to knock them out.
Great work Craney, top marathoning. Nice to see the dark peak vest getting a fast time.
Cheers all - it was a great experience.
