It was almost the same? Crap.
Sep 18, 2013 4:34 AM #
carlch:
Well, if it was "easier" this time than last, that's a good sign even if your time wasn't faster.

If you log these guys as races, they will show up here:

How do I see my most recent runs?
Sep 19, 2013 1:16 PM #
A.Child:
Click racing on the top bar next to discussion, then below that, click running. You will see all the distances organized by distance and popularity (bigger=more people) at the top, you can see "Your Races"

How does it select which races to show, because most of mine aren't there.

acjospe:
you probably didn't select them as races.

When you add new training, there's the dropdown for warmup, training, tempo, hills, and race. Click race.

You are better off using routes, as you should probably only be using "races" when you have tapered and are going flat out, as it gives a vdot. Slower runs will just screw up your stats.

Here's a good example of routes:
http://attackpoint.org/route.jsp/route_22

Its a great way to track your improvements if you are doing a loop constantly.

Thank you Mathias. That's probably a good for me since I don't exactly try to break records in most of my 5k races.

And Andrew, I know the drop down menu, and I did set them as races. Still don't show up.

You probably entered the distance wrong. it works for me.
Sep 20, 2013 1:23 AM #
EChild:
I don't think I entered distance at all. I just logged it as "race" and put distance in the comments. That would explain it, though.

iansmith:
Yeah, I think defining a distance is a prerequisite for declaring an entry as a race.
