They look delicious! And those greens also look delicious. It's pretty exciting that your garden is being this bountiful =)

I have to confess - I don't really like beet greens that much! I will be throwing them into some salads and sautes anyway though, they're all saved!

I already made that - it's lovely! Currently eating a late breakfast of last nights beet burgers leftovers with two poached eggs on top. Mmmm.

Hey, looks good to me. The onions aren't so small - bigger than an electrical outlet! Just think of the tiny black specks you started out with back in February.

I got tired of the beet greens pretty quickly. Mine are mostly dark red and ratty by harvest time anyways. But I save the nicest leaves and use them like lettuce on sandwiches. Specifically, cuke and tomato sandwiches with a dollop of homemade pickle relish. Yow! That relish recipe from the blue book turned out nicely. Lots more onions in it than the typical store relish (my normal store relish didn't have any onions). The cukes keep coming, so I might do another batch. Someone gave me a cucumber soup recipe with avocado and lime to try too.

I've harvested one butternut so far, and there are 8 lg ones on the vines. A few more fruit trying to set, but the vines are badly infested with powdery mildew, which I'm fighting with neem. Just need to keep them alive long enough to mature the existing fruit. They are still trying to set, out at the ends of the vines where the mildew hasn't reached. I've been hand pollinating, but no idea if that's doing any good or not. Still plenty of bumble bees around. And ants in the squash flowers.
