I agree. There were a lot of noticeable small inaccuracies with the map yesterday. But none should have really influenced performance too much. Plus, of course, everyone had the same "handicap".

Not that we shouldn't strive for perfection ... But I know many other clubs and events where such minor map issues would be unworthy of comment.

Matthew just sent me the results. I'll see if I can get them posted soon.

Are you the only person capable of posting OCIN event results?

Pat and I are the only ones with the access and the software to do it.

Matthew has uploaded splits to Attackpoint and I suspect that he has posted them on OCINs FarceBook page. But I won't get a chance to put them on the official website until later today.

I didn't leave enough time to make the map updates I sketched on Friday. I did a few, at least ten little things, but left some bigger problems alone. Most were vegetation changes from white to "white with patches of green", and the boundaries in the lawn closest to highway 42. I do agree with Vladimir's use of white for the very shady park lawns.

I said this to a few people on Saturday---As I was fieldchecking, I realized the lack of map updates was actually a neat challenge: You looked at the map and planned a route, then you started to execute and realized, "Oh---that's pretty green now---what should I do?", and the need to change plans on-the-fly made it more sprinty.

I recommend adding Matthew to that list...

I'd prefer to know how to do Routegadget. The website---Ugh---If I have to.
