Everything looks so leafy :) June is a great month. Everything has roots and is growing bonkers, plenty of warm sunshine, and pests haven't been a serious problem. Not sure what your tomato spots are, but it doesn't look like early blight. Blight has grey spots, sometimes with ringed edges. The leaves get covered with spots then turn bright yellow, followed by brown and shriveled. Usually happens from the bottom up, with lower leaves dying first, progressing up the plant.

Do you have blueberries in pots? I put in three small plants this year to hopefully form a blueberry hedge. Already have one established highbush, but it'll be a while before these new ones are big enough to produce much. The roses and peonies are blooming now. Your strawberries look awesome!!! Brought in some rhubarb stalks today, but not enough for a pie by themselves. Will have to get some strawberries at the store. I made a raspberry-rhubarb last week with frozen berries collected last summer. Just one more month to this year's picking time, so need to finish off the supply in the freezer. Its a tough job, but...

The blueberries are in pots! Rob's Mum bought them and I felt a bit guilty because they same like more of a long term investment than I was willing to get into. But they seem pretty happy in the pots, although I've had to start watering with rainwater to stop the pH from raising too high. The strawberries were another present - I probably should have just removed these buds but they surprised me a bit (and they're so tasty, even if they are a bit small!).

The pies sound yummy! I wonder how many raspberries I will get from our bush?
