Gutted for the LOK lads! Must be frustrating.... Oh well at least it was the last runner. All the 194 club seemed to have good runs - nice work. ohh and the girlies did pretty well.
You boys going to Jukola?

Ye, it was pretty frustrating. We got a really good start this year (for once). I punched the second control in eight position, just one minute behind the leader. Then I did a big mistake and I lost the front pack. After that we lost places throughout the entire relay, and ended up misspunching on the last leg. Damit!
The girls did a great job. We lads must really step up quite a bit if don't want the club to be like Domnarvet, who only focuses on women.

Of course we're going to Jukola, but not Figge though.
Will we see you there??

It was an exciting competition in many ways. A great start and then a few mistakes on the legs after that made us end up in "no mans land". It's really hard fighting out of that position unless you have really strong runners. A couple of not so great legs made us loose out on or 40-ish position. The DQ just made the icing on the cake :(

My race was ok technically but body felt like shit. Had no power at all and struggled badly to pick up the pace in the easy sections. So overall ok for me but not great.

Hopefully we will do better at Jukola. Unfortunately I have passed into the "no travel" time zone at the time of Jukola so I will be stuck in Sweden I'm afraid.

Does sound exiciting boys. I will see you at Jukola! You'll have to watch out for the Bristol team, we'll be checking our codes :-)

Figge - "no travel" time - have i missed out on some news?

Keith - You probably have ;)
We are expecting the arrival of a child in the beginning of July. So to be on the safe side it's best if I stay in Sweden in the case of an early birth.
