I don't know how long the race was, but it looks to me as though you might have gone out a bit too fast. Also, don't beat yourself up about it. Some days I feel crap but its mainly a mental thing and more often than not I feel great again a couple of days later
5mile so no I didn't. I purposely didn't go out to hard. 3:17s is what i did at Parkrun 6weeks or so back on same type of surface. Wouldn't have expected same pace whole way due to hills. Wasn't getting enough oxygen to muscles whatever causes it lungs were burning when I pulled out although only running at about T HR. I'll take it eady and be fine by weekend - looking forward to it! :-)
