Hey, Charlie, good running this weekend! I couldn't leave on Sunday until you ran, because I knew it was for the gold. I saw you come in, Vlad announced that you had won, and I left with my tail between my legs. So I had a pleasant surprise when I checked the results this morning and saw the 7-second difference. I agree with you, the orienteering was terrific. And the competition wasn't too bad either.

Hey Soupbone...yes we WON the 6-hr Division back then in 2004, running as "Soupbone Express." As I recall, we were both a bit tired from spending the previous night at a certain place in Indy...if you remember correctly. But we won anyway.

You and I got 678 points in six hours...beating most of the 12-hr field. However a couple 12-hr teams did very well, but my files do no reveal the names of the members of the "Bussola" team (1213) or the "One Day Stand" team that won overall with 1259 points.

Hey Tom, Yep I do remember hearing him say that, kinda cool finishing and hearing you took the lead! Oh well, what was he thinking?
We will have to have a beer next time and go over our runs.

CTC, thanks, I wasent sure what year that was and..Indy....you talking about my favorite bar? And we won! Good memories I would say.
I made it back to see this yellowwood become a real "A" level O course. Of course they had a map for a couple of years allready.
What a blast, you need to take my map and go hiking with it someday. Some good brew down there and the best biking anywhere. Road trip?
