Discussion: Huge "O" map collection for auction as a Junior Team fundraiser

I have a pretty huge collection of O maps I will sell to the highest bidder as a fundraiser for the US and Canadian Junior Teams. Here's the scoop:
About 1100-1200 maps from 41 countries (email me for a list of number by country if you like). I counted 954 but that does not include Finland for which I had too many to count (150-200?). The 41 does include some pretty obscure countries - i.e. Tunisia, Cuba, Brazil, Ethiopia.
Open to US and Canadians (well - to people living in those countries).
Bids in US dollars.
Highest bidder to pay for mailing (alternately I can deliver at the COC in Sask. in July; or possibly the western US Champs in Oct.). My guess is $30-40 for mailing; this is an overflowing bankers box. If it's a high winning bid and the shipping is much more than that I'll help out with the cost.
Highest bid to be split 50/50 between the US Junior Team and the Canadian Junior team - we can work out the donation details.
Auction ends Monday evening April 9th - 21:00 PST.
Starting bid - $75 USD. Let's not be cheap - this is for the children.
Anonymous bids welcome - just email me and I will make a posting about it.
I think that's it. Email me with questions.

I have had someone contact me and placed an anonymous bid of $200 US Dollars.

Thanks to all bidders. Kind of expensive for those kids to get to Australia; and vegemite ain't cheap.

Why do you have such a large collection of Finnish maps? Did you used to live there? Perhaps in the area around Tampere or Mänttä?

Just an unapologetic post in a blatant attempt to get this on people's radar screen again as the auction ends Monday the 9th at 9 pm Pacific time.

A big congratulations and a HUGE thank you to Mike Waddington of Hamilton who donated $265 to win the map collection. That means $132.50 US to the US Junior Team and the same amount to the Canadian Junior Team.

Awesome support Mike!

Thanks also to others who bid, forcing the amount required to win higher and higher.

Natioanl Team alumni from both sides of the border, as well as 'regular-types' are of course always encouraged to support our junior teams.

Thanks a lot Ross for supporting both teams through this fundraiser, and for giving away your maps for our benefit. Thanks to those who bid on the maps as well!
