Ali followed up yesterday' and Saturday's 3rd place finishes with a second today, only one minute out of a win. Full results are up on the Ski O Tour website.
This puts her in 3rd overall position thru day 4 of the Tour, only 22 seconds from second and 4 min out first. Unfortunately, duty calls and Ali will be headed back to the States tomorrow missing the final two days of the Tour. However, her strong showing boosts her World Ranking standing and sets up a good start group for the World Champ races in Kaz in March.
She's probably giving a talk at the AAS meeting this week too. Sheesh! She should wear her medals during coffee breaks :)
AAS = Anonymous Astronomer Ski-Oers?
Darn; missing two. Like my father-in-law used to say - "Work takes up too much of your spare time". But just wait until Kaz. Go AAS (Awesome Ali Star)!
She went Absolutely Ape-S&%! on the tour. Way to be!
Ski-O in action
here, not of Ali (it's a Norwegian guy who finished 4th today), but a pretty cool photo.
So exciting! Canada is also watching and cheering for you! Allez, allez ... Ali Athlete Superbe!
With Wednesday's results, Ali moves up to 8th in world ranking.
