100 hours is pretty awesome! That's an hour every third day, if you averaged over the year! Or half hour, two out of three days. I'm nowhere near that yet (and the trajectory isn't good). You're inspiring me!

Nice to reach a mile post! Hope this helps you to enjoy your trip more.

I set myself a 200 hr goal this year - based on previous years and upping it a bit for extra motivation. Unfortunately that´s exactly what has been lacking - motivation :(

I´ve just passed 130 and may through some miracle the last two weeks maybe reach 150 hours for the year (as if that is a new goal in itself?).

It usually helps to have a definite goal for your training so I think your NZ trip is just great as a motivator! Mine was NAOC, but even with that I couldn´t get up enough inspiration to really train the way I should have. Oh well, there´s always next year ;-)
