Several years ago, when SportIdent made the changes that required either upgrading the old large box to the BSF7 configuration or buying the compact BSF8 units new, OCIN decided to upgrade our old boxes. We have an inventory of over 110 of the large-format control units.
A few months ago, we placed an order for 60 of the BSF7 upgrade boards to complete the change to all "new-style" electronics.
But when we did the board swaps, we realized that perhaps 6 or 7 of the old-style cases were damaged beyond use. They were cracked or had holes or would leak. We've got another 5 or so cases that we really should replace for various reasons.
New cases are available, but before placing an order we decided to ask: Do any clubs have an inventory of old units (typically BSF4 or BSF6) that they don't intend to upgrade?
We're mostly interested in "free", but we would consider a nominal cost. Of course we'd pay for shipping. And we're probably interested in the black plastic mount bases for the large-format units.
Full disclosure: It is my understanding that upgrade boards are still available. However, I was told the factory is considering stopping production this month.

I've forwarded to our club leadership. We have a huge number of old units and probably won't upgrade them, but I'm not entirely sure what our plans are.

Thanks! We are definitely interested in some of the large mount bases as well if anyone has some.
