Auww, my bad. I guess one golf bashing thread per year is ok. Let's leave it alone and resurrect it at Jan 1 next year.

Not sure if it is mentioned in any of those threads, and I'm not going to search, but AP'er STK66 did write some really good articles for our Australian Orienteer magazine in recent years that included comparisons between the two sports. Quite entertaining reading especially given that it was penned by a physical ed teacher.

They were very good articles StK66. Are they on the web anywhere? (Like the Australian Orienteer should be)

Thank you for that comment O-ing. Much appreciated. I don't think the articles are on the web anywhere. Just at home on the hard drive.

Well maybe when the Australian Orienteer goes online, which can't be too far away, those articles can be added to an archive treasury. Or you could start your own pay-per-view site!

Interesting suggestion O-ing, though really not sure what I have to say on golf and orienteering is worth paying for!!

Is that paying for, or playing for ;)

Yes STK66, a bob both ways as far as a compliment...ha ha.

One of my favourite Woody Allen quotes goes something like this.....

Those that can - do.
Those that can't - teach
Those that can't teach - teach gym.

Very funny.....but inaccurate in your case I must admit and I'd guess most AP gym teachers as well.

Yes - I think you have shared that gem from Woody Allen with me in the past!
