Right off Davis St down Hartford Tpk; at the end of Hartford Tpk (at the corner with Rogers Rd) there's a trail that heads into East Rock: saves running up the section of Davis St with no footpath.
I did wonder whether that connected - I've seen trails heading that way from inside before. But 26 minutes wasn't enough to risk trying it and then there not being one So thanks!
