Jon W:
I noticed the following entry on the BOF fixtures list

Jun 22 IOF World Cup Middle Race with Micr O - Norway

Has anyone else heard about this? I thought that the whole idea had been dropped.

Tero has an interesting map and summary of his recent encounter with "Orient Show", a variation of Micro O. Go to Tero's website, click on Archives, and select the 26/11/2006 item: http://www.tero.fr/

1:1000 map; 41 controls; no control codes - 30 sec penalty per mistake; under 5 minutes?; head-to-head,with butterfly loops.

He enjoyed (and did well!) with this version.

Orient-Show is the brainchild of Max Ryabkin (Tanya Ryabkina's husband). More on the concept is here.

Where do I sign up. I need to run one of these now!!!! Looks like fun. I am willing to move barriers around all morning making a maze (as long I can later run through it)
