Discussion: Half a muscle up?

Really? What is half? A muscle up is a deep goal of mine, particularly if I can stay uninsured enought to work on it.

Our rings are really high, so I jumped up to them and got my arms in the right position but bent. Couldn't straighten them though.

I can't do anything right now because my shoulder is trashed, but I was training for a while doing muscle-ups with a band. Kind of cool. One end in each hand on some low hanging rings, sit in the middle. Extend down and then push up. The band gives you some momentum for the pullup part, but you have to do most of the dip on your own.
