With registration already just under 2/3rds full and still month till race day, it's time to get your team in. Registrations are ahead of schedule compared to previous years, so don't wait until the October 19th deadline, likely we'll be sold out by then!

With no members from last years top 3 teams registered yet, the podium open for the taking. On paper, the triad forming Team Giggles is looking like the one to beat, but also the pedigree of Salomon cannot be overlooked. Will ladies outnumber the gents on the overall podium this year?

With one week to go until late fees kick in, there are currently over 70 teams registered.
Still no Foreigners, no Canyonero, no Mike Tyson vs Serghei. The race is currently wide open!

Quick race course update!

This year's course will have at least one matrix - that portion of the race course where team member's can split up to navigate to a few checkpoints on their own. BUT the location of these sections of the course will be kept secret until teams arrive at the checkpoint or checkpoints where the matrix starts. Teams will then use several master maps top add these additional checkpoints to their maps. Teams will then need to quickly decide how to split up the matrix checkpoints before returning to the starting checkpoint of matrix before continuing on the course.

Three distinct terrain types on this year's course: Limestone, Escarpment, Ridge/Valley.

Oh yeah and we have some awesome post-race hot food too (more on that in the days to come).

Oh, we only have to draw the controls. Phew. I thought we'd have to draw a whole map again. :D

...and don't forget the Peak 2 Peak training event + Kids Raid on Oct 28th. This is a great event for teams to prep for the RTH. Due to our growing Adventure Running Kids and Adventure Running X (for teens) programs we have moved the Kids Raid off the RTH weekend and to the P2P event instead.

At the moment kids entries outnumber adults by over a two to one margin for the P2P. We would love to have some volunteers assist with marshaling the kids races (three different courses in total). There will be time to marshal and then run the P2P course.
