Discussion: Ride From Philly Airport to NAOC

I'm looking for a ride/host to the NAOC from Philly airport, arriving Oct 18, departing 21, or 22 to suit host's schedule. I'm entered only Friday Middle and Sat Long. Otherwise I'll have to drive from Florida and back. Thanks for your help!

Bob, DVOA has an eboard for communications it is under the tab of People.
on their website. You will not be able to post there but I can. I would get you except I live an hour NW of Philly but I know that there are others from DVOA that are coming and I would hope that someone could help you out. If not if you would consider using the Allentown airport I would gladly give you a ride. I'm done work on the 18th at 10 AM for the day and heading to PEEC and Allentown is not out of the way at all then. Sunday is undecided but I'm sure that we will be able to find someone if I can't get to back on time for your flight.

Thanks. I'll try the DVOA site and will also check into flights to Allentown. Then if I can remember how to get back to this thread (newbie in AP), I'll keep you posted. Alternatively, you or anyone else can reach me by email via www.floridaorienteering.org web page where I'm the only 'Bob' under Contacts; then we can communicate offline.

But things happen fast at this end.
My wife's on-going recovery from a recent serious illness (the very thing that kept her from traveling to PA and prompted my solo logistics requests), has now taken a wrong-enough turn for me to cancel my NAOC altogether.
I'll miss the faces and the competition, but Janet and I have things to do here..
