Discussion: North American Rogaining Championships

The Orienteering USA Rogaining Committee designated the Three15er Navigation Race the 2012 North American Rogaining Championships. Registration is open, and the registration page has been updated with additional options for submitting team info and making payment.

Although registration just recently opened, the competition is shaping up nicely, as several 24-Hour teams from Canada and the US have already entered.

I'm looking for a partner for this rogaine, as my usual partner is tied up with a conference that weekend. I would expect to cover something like 70K (+/- 10K) actual distance during the event, and would prefer going out with someone who had similar expectations. Although someone in one of the older age categories would be nice from a standpoint of age group competition, my main interest would be in having a partner who was interested in staying out for the whole 24 hours and who would be able to cover some significant fraction of the course.
