A dangerous and seemingly unnecessary activity. Did you use the customary technique?

There is a customary technique?! We just held them down and scrubbed! Their itchy flaky dandruff is a lot better now, so I'm glad we did. Rosie is strong though, she managed to peel the sealant off the side of the bath!

I was thinking of how they do it to themselves, which is the only kind of bath my cats ever get. One of my cats used to like to go in the shower, but he was thinking of it as a really interesting drinking fountain, and I don't think he appreciated the cleaning potential. We got him a recirculating drinking fountain and now he leaves the shower alone.

I have also never bathed a cat before. But we've had major hairballs over the last few weeks, and Clem has very dry skin. Touch wood, it seems to be helping with both. They've both had major brushing time too!

I can't believe there's no video of this.

Melissa, regarding the above (especially the brushing) says, "Wow, these people are magical."

Really, they didn't like brushing?! Rosie loves that stuff!

Unfortunately we didn't have enough pairs of hands to hold Rosie down, wash her, and take a video. Next time :) The noise of despair she makes is pretty adorable.

I can lend you a tripod for a video if you want one.
