Various climate sceptics are trying to drum up support (and money) for a legal challenge against the new long-term Australian temperature data set that I've been working on - their pitch is that if they can somehow get a court ruling against that they can then use it as leverage for a legal challenge against the carbon tax. There's been a similar case dragging on in NZ for the last couple of years. Not sure if anything will come of it but it's a distraction I don't need just at the moment.
