Are you getting dehydrated overnight? I usually feel awful in the morning at this time of year until I've had a litre or so of water.
That could well be the case. I drink enough during the day that I usually have to get up once in the night, but my mouth is always dry and icky by the next morning anyway. So yus, perhaps.
have you been bitten since November ?
Yup, a couple of times, they've been out in force siince late February with the mild winter. Removed them within 24 hours every time. But unfortunately it's the tiny ones you don't see that get you.
It's actually only partly the mild winter, it's more the bumper 2010 acorn season that led to a bumper 2011 mouse population that has led to a bumper 2012 tick season:

Tired? You are supposed to be. Read your last comment about X-fit - that was tough! You're only starting those and will take a while before it's natural. Recovery time and be prepared for DOMS.
I don't get the DOMS so much with Cross Fit, I think because aerobic capacity tends to limit the performance rather than the total weight. But yes, you're probably right.
We get DOMS if we do a movement we haven't done in a few weeks. Sometimes a heavy pushups workout catches us by surprise. Toes to bar or knees to elbows can be pretty rough. I've had some really tough DOMS after deadlifts a few times, but I generally do them often enough that it's not a problem anymore.
Have you had your iron levels checked recently? Could be something simple like that?
No, I haven't, and a couple of people have suggested that. Should actually make the appointment!
You mention aircon on Monday - could this affect you - dehydration, sore heads etc?
The aircon is definitely dehydrating, and it's pretty unpleasant to be working in all day.
you could make an appointment, or just take multivitamins for a week and see if you feel better.
