There will be a speedy goat-style relay, mass start at about 1:30. Teams of 2, each member running 2 alternating legs. Please arrive early enough to choose a teammate and register. The two courses are each about 1.5 k, and relatively easy navigation. There will also be a beginner's course available of 1.1k.

This has been a banner year for the laurel farmers, and some areas are greener on the ground than they are on the map. The trails are all wide open. The electric fences are turned off and the gates will be open. Please cross only at the gates.

Picnic directly after the relay.

And it was such a pleasant afternoon, lingering for a long time out on the deck. Thanks for yet another fine Ratlum production.

Very nice to have you come. Here are some things left behind:

Maps of Fairfield University
Large white circular platter
Black sneakers with greenish yellow laces.

Can anyone claim them?

Maybe some fun when you come? A little hike, bike ride or trail run or something? Or we could mail them for you if that works out better.
