Plus saves you a bundle to buy other things. arent they like 5 dollars a piece?

I can do my long runs without gels, but feel stronger with them. I really need them when summer comes and I start to sweat a lot more. They are around $2-$3 each, so $5/week on gels is nothing compared to the amount I save on beer by drinking less when training hard.
