Discussion: OUSA Elite MTBO Team: Apply now if interested

I've just posted an announcement on the USOFclubnet regarding a call for self-nominations to the 2012 OUSA MTBO team.

Please feel free to read it and pass it around to anyone who might be interested in applying for the team.

I passed this around to three Bay Area folks who I know who are good with a map and a mountain bike.

Added to the OUSA site as a news item, so pass around the link to US MTBOers and/or orienteers.

There's a masters competition at the world champs which anyone can go in. Would be good experience for anyone interested in developing MTBO.

Hey, another US team I could wery well be on.

The deadline for preliminary entries and guaranteed accomodations in the Event Center for the 2012 MTBO WOC is May 20 (details here).

We have already received applications from both men and women for the OUSA 2012 MTBO Team, and encourage anyone still thinking about applying to submit their self-nominations in the next 48 hours to receive full consideration.

Can't go but want to support MTBO? As of today, just click the GiveOnline button on the OUSA "Support" page and then select the mountain bike team as a recipient of your donation, or dedicate a portion of any donation to Team USA for the MTBO team. It's tax deductible as much as always and all of the teams appreciate your support!
