Exams are another mental stress to add to the physical stress of training and it can result in your body not being up to scratch.

By all means, go training. But there is no need to hammer and break the system down further.
Two hard session in the middle of exams, the week before the IOC.... not the best of ideas.

Aonghus O'C once said to me that I should do no hard session 6-8 days before the IOC, depending on fatigue levels.
All the work has being done.

To put it in terms of sessions. I'm convienced that this, played a part in this, and that was a 9 day turnaround.

Well yes i want to do well in the IOC because its the national championships but im looking more long term aswell like to hopefully summer exploits abroad

Make sure you stay hydrated between now and the weekend, throwing up can be very dehydrating. Dioralyte if you have it.
