Just add them up and put the number down. I see you said 20 for last Saturday (Concord, NH), but you didn't put down last Sunday's or the Speedy goat or the billygoat. All examples of why you should put it down when you log the entry.

It's actually easier than that. The way i do it is when you do an orienteering race, there's a box that has course information like controls and stuff. It asks how many you spiked or something, but you can also put the total, which is what I do. To get your total over the course of a period of time, go to the bottom of the AP page and click reports, then generate the period of time you want, and it will give you the total number of controls.
