Discussion: Happy Birthday

Sorry you missed SMT but a half-marathon isn't so bad. See you in Halifax next weekend. When do you fly?
Thanks. Technically tomorrow but univ friends are coming tonight for drinks, Burger Preist take-out and Wii action. Poor Venus will have to miss out and instead listen to it all from upstairs sick in bed :(
IN - Porter via Ottawa landing Fri 7pm
OUT - Porter via Montreal leaving at 7:25pm
Was going to offer a share in our rental car but guessing with Pam living in Halifax now that you're covered.
Happy Birthday Bender. Glad IBB was there to pace you. I think having him coaching you is practically cheating!
Hope Venus feels better.
Thanks dudes. All I want for my birthday is a chance to get out for a speed work session ...tomorrow! (although that is what I said yesterday ...and the day before that, ...and the day before that, and the day before that...)
I read this awhile ago and meant to answer...
Westjet in around noon on Friday, out at 6:45 Sunday night. So depending on where Pam's place is relative to the airport, maybe I could catch a ride with you at the end. We may go back to her place to clean up so we'll figure it out later.
Do your speedwork during the Rogaine!
Bash - you got it. If she's enroute ...maybe Relentless and I could grab showers ;)
'Bent - let's hope not as I hate getting caught out too far at the 23rd hr. WRC 2008 Billy and I ran a 51min 12k after 23hrs of racing ...no f'in fun!
Speaking of DrBill he's probably in the fastest shape he's ever been chasing an entry to Kona this Sunday in St Croix. However, there's been a last minute entry added to the field.
This Sunday ...Lance vs Billy. I told him when he passes Lance on the run to snub him at the finish line.

Haha! :)
It sounds like Pam's place is between the event venue and the airport, although a little off the main road. The plan is that I'll go back for a shower. If you and Relentless will drive me to the airport, that may be your ticket to a shower as well. :) (Although it's Pam's Mom's place so you'll have to ask Pam to make sure it's OK. They're very hospitable; Pam's Mom is cooking lobster for me tomorrow night!!)
As far as I remember (from 1977) the James family is very hospitable.
We stayed in their summer cottage for a couple of days around the Canadian Orienteering Championships in Nova Scotia while on the road to PEI - if I remember correctly...
