I keep forgetting that Alice is your dog (I hope).

But it is fun to read these with the image of a 4-5 year old child in mind. Swim, obedience, play,... Why not? :)

Good thing I didn't log my Monday rest day then.... Alice and I took a walking pace bike ride (~4 miles), and at the city park, a blue heeler came rushing at her very aggressively.
Alice froze. I backed up (don't like to get between two sets of teeth.)
The dog sniffed around Alice, while she looked at me "I'm being good".
Then the dog attacked her. Alice attacked back, ball of dogs went flying around, and within a few seconds the blue heeler went running, tail between legs. Alice is sweet, but a strong scary fighter when pressed. Good girl, Alice.

Is that a blue heeler in the picture? Scary. I hope Alice wasn't injured. And good for her to fend off the attacker.

No, the pictures of Australian Blue Heelers were all too cute, so I had to find a pic that more matched what was going on in my head.....
Alice got a bloody tongue. No big wound though.

I came close to getting one of these dogs as cast off from family members, but I stood my ground and said no. They have lots of energy but tend to be herding types.
