That's because Soupbone was already warm...wearing his Yooper skiing gear: ear muffs under hat with drop-down ear flaps, 4 or 5 plaid flannel shirts, and yellow insulated mechanic's bib overalls.

Nice set. Okay, I'll do mine Tuesday, unless it's still raining. You've got good numbers to shoot for, but unlikely I'll break 1:30 at this point.

I'll at least watch from the infield. Am shy from c. 90 sec stuff - it seems to be injurious. But we never seem to learn & return for more.

Thanks, but there was a 1 mile warmup and 2 lap cool down. I just did not log it because I don't usually consider that training.

ah, thanks, thats explains it. bl, maybe just try some 105 second stuff and gradually work your way down? i always warm up, dynamic stretch etc. before and so far so good.

Weak day for intervals, but I did them, so here's the result: 1.37, 1.39, 1.41, 1.40, 1.38. About 7 sec slower than last week after some rest; I can say my legs were tired today. Let's keep working on this.

how much rest are you taking between reps?

did some cruise intervals and regular intervals to warm up (see log) and then
4 x 400 repetition @ 1:29, 1:30, 1:30, 1:32 w/ 3 min jog rest (1:30 target)

I was really done at 3, but I kept thinking how lame it would look if i just had 3 400's in soup's log. hope to sneak in some more in the next couple of weeks, but its kind of tricky w/ the marathon training i'm doing
thanks for inspiring us, coach.
