Well if chris and Ciaran were the only ones who got in, did any of us stand a chance anyway? Looks like they've used different selection policies with the girls and the guys too :S assuming this is what your talking about :p

Bad luck man. Selection policy just says up to 6 men and up to 6 women, doesn't say how many 18s/16s. Last year they took 4 w16s and 2 w18s, so they have done it before. Show them next year, anyway!

yep i knew that they decide the numbers in each age group and not just pick 3 for all, but it must have been close in the 16s and thats why they took 4 as they couldnt split them, but cheers adian and well done on JWOC! will be a real good exiperence :)

yeh they both did well and probally ahd better overall percentages than me, but just shows some of my mistakes have let me down, as i never really had a good performance at any selection races but still came out with good results. yeh thats true your just gonna have to go all out for JWOC next year;)

Chris Owens:
Yeah but in terms of the guys theyve seemed to pic people who have had one or two great races where they won or quite a lot ahead of the rest and the women it's more like theyve chosen some people who have had consistent mediocre (put nicely) runs but dont really show much promise of doing that well domestically. I'm not complaining because I had awful runs at 3 of the 4 races, but it's just weird

yeh like ciarans jk sprint but he has been consistent too so he deserved it! same with chris good jk sprint but not fully consistent but i knew it was going to be close so fair play to them both. roll on next year!
