WOC (Lasuanne, Switzerland), starts immediately after JWOC (Koscie, Solvakia), ends. If anyone can recommend an efficient way of getting from one to the other, I would like to know.

Better yet, does anyone know if a tour group or bus charter has considered the trip and might have some extra seats? There must be quite a few people that will want to make the same journey at the same time.

Note, I will post a similar message on traveling from WOC to O-Ringen

carlch, I am formulating my itinerary currently, and I am wondering if you have found or settled on a solution for travel between JWOC and WOC.

We haven't figured it out yet. The fall back is bus or train to Budapest, flight to Milan or Geneva and than train to Lausanne. Easyjet has some very cheap fares from Budapest to Geneva but they don't fly on Saturday which is the one day off between JWOC and SOW (spectator events for WOC). They do have a Friday afternoon flight but unless you run the first leg of the Relay, you probably can't make that.

Another option is train from Budapest to Lausanne (13 hours). Budapest seems to be a better place to leave from than Kosice though Krakow in Poland may be another option that we haven't looked into.

Ryanair has some really cheap tickets from Budapest to Milan and we might be able to drop off one person at Budapest but I'm not certain about that yet.

Thanks. We are looking at Budapest to Milan flights. At this point I think there will be about 7 in our group so we will need other arrangements for Kosice to Budapest.

There may be a better way to do this but what we have settled on is train/bus from Kosice to Budapest. Wizzair flight from Budapest to Milan (cost about 60 Euros), and than train from Milan to Lausanne. All on July 14th.
