What distance were you running? 400s? At my pace. My brain is mush right now. I saw that...and I noticed you put in about 20 minutes which a average workout for me...no words of wisdom, wit, etc...my cancer, brain tumour, allergy, sinus, pneumonia, malaria, typhoid fever, etc has come back...not full strength just enough to make me weak and grouchy..ok I'm grouchy all the time now after 26 yrs of adjusting insurance claims..

Speaking of speed (or lack thereof right now). I was running, shuffling along tonight trying to break a good sweat to whip this radiation poisoning or whatever and a block from my house I saw a car coming from my right and I decided to use it for motivation for a 50 yard sprint...I shifted from 1st gear into overdrive in one stride...I had to pedal down, my arms were pumping and legs turning over like Olympic 100mt final...1/3 of the way I noticed car getting closer so I really turned the after burners on...after about 3 minutes to "sprint" through the intersection it boiled down to if the car had not slowed down he would have run over me...I guess I looked so pitiful they didn't even honk at me...now that was the world's slowest "50 yard dash" by someone not in a old folks home..

3 miles 6:40...with sprints about 30 seconds slower than h/s...of unknown distance..guessing about 1/4 mile but that can't be right....I give up...

I did the old Building Sprint workout. Remember running repeats around Central? The round cafeteria, etc? I talked with Jay afterwards and we agreed that the fastest times were in the 1:15 range...then. Whew.
It's weird up there now. The school closed last year.

Do you mean OLD OLD Central downtown or New Old Central...I have no idea how you remember times, except you got an extra year on me of workouts. The New Old school just does not seem that old...its like the Astrodome...from 8th wonder of world to empty relic. Tearing down ole historic ballfields...Hairoil Stephenson has posted some pictures around the school..it was weird even looking at the photos...I wen there 1 year when that place was new!!!! Now its a ghost attraction. I have never even seen how I35 was done...someday I will have to get up there...and play a little golf..haha...actually I would like to play the two courses I used to play...one in Superior..can't remember the name ...Nemaji??? And the skyline drive...Enger I think...I looked at it on the internet but what I saw did not really line up with my memory...good luck whatever you are doing in LA. (the state not tinseltown)
