It doesn't stop there. He will have already written a letter to the Mayor, CEO and LG Councillor requesting:
(a) the lanes only be available to rate payers (squad swimmers never being rate payers of course)
(b) that the pool open an hour earlier so that the squads can be moved to 430am to enable him to have no more than 2 people in his lane.
(c) that numbers be counted in the lanes every half hour of every day to disprove that clear fact that squads have far more people per lane than public lanes - and therefore shouldn't be allowed.

Maybe he is from Esperance, more than two in a 25m lane gets them annoyed with the world... "What, we can't just swim side by side in our own half a lane?" and "But we've been coming to this pool for 18 years!" and the coup de grace "You're down from the City aren't you?".
