Discussion: NAOC 2008 training camp near Syracuse

The OOC crowd is going to be travelling down to Syracuse to rerun the 2008 NAOC middle and long courses on the March 31st weekend.

Not much is planned yet but we're looking at running the middle late Saturday morning, some sections of a recent classic champs near there on Saturday afternoon and the NAOC long on Sunday morning. All are welcome to join the fun. I'll need to hear from you by the 25th if you're planning on coming so we can print maps etc.

Not sure if there will be flags or even ribbons. At this point we're planning on have green, red, and blue courses available for people to run.

I know it's further for you Ottawa folks but AliC is planning training for Harriman that same weekend. She's in Europe right now but I think she plans to post info on Attackpoint at some point.

That's for the note Carl. Unfortunately 8 hours of driving is more than I'd like to drive for a training camp. Those NAOC maps are a little over 2 hours driving for us.

People going to Hariman can always come up to syracuse for training, they could crash on my floor if needed.

Looks like we will be meeting at Salmon River about 12noon saturday. There will be controls up. After Salmon River will be happy Valley probably a green from the classic champs or selct technical areas. Sunday around 9-10 meet at Klondike for long courses from NAOC. All are welcome woods should be nice open and runable. Aagain if you are interested and need a place to crash my living room is open. Let Jeff or I know if you are coming.
