At some point I heard a band member say orienteering and hip in the same sentence, but then he spoilt it all by using the g word.

I'm only allowed to listen to a 30 second preview of Dr. Dog.

I've pretty much decided that orienteers are just a different breed of hipster. We are passionate about something that nobody has heard of. We dress unconventionally. We don't dare tell anyone about it because we like being indie. And if it ever goes mainstream, well damn it, it's not the same thing anymore. It sold out. It's lame.

I've never known a hipster on a trust fund, but maybe British ones are different to North American ones.

But I have a 971 phone number just so that I can be with the in crowd. (They were out of 503s.)

Also, hipsters don't like sprints. Hipsters are only interested in orienteering in places where nobody ever goes.
