The whole city and its surrounds to choose from and you choose Attercliffe? Three times?

I'm with the boys! Rocky didn't train in a posh gym! Shit holes make you 'ard! (as do some of the women in Attercliffe, for the right price)

I dunno. Mike you've changed... at least last weekend you went up the parks then did your intervals with a countryside view...

I suffer running around crap areas because that's all I got up here, really makes me appreciate Riv, Porter etc.

When you said Rocky I for some reason thought of Murray first. Edinburgh ain't that bad?!

Footnotes:
I find the industrial areas rather beautiful. And like the contrast between East and West running.

I think you're being rather harsh on Attercliffe and the Don Valley. There are lots of worse areas in Sheffield. I'm with Paul, I like it. It sums Sheffield up for me with the mix of the new and the old, from the EIS and Ice Sheffield to Forgemasters.

You wouldn't like it if it wasn't flat...

Yes but 3 times?

Did you know that Sheffield is the Greenest City in Europe? About 60% of the land area is green. Much of this is made up by the Don's four tributaries (Rivelin, Sheaf, Porter, Loxley), oh and the fact 30% of Sheffield being within the Peak District.

Summing up Sheffield? There are these really great green spaces which you don't get in any other city, but for me the reason I live and like Sheffield so much is the EIS, Ice Sheffield and Forgemasters, oh and not to mention the KFC on Queen's Road.

Ease up Neil, you're the one who's changed. Long socks? Acupuncture? Hang your head in shame young man.

Says the man who moved to the other side of the world so that he could ponce around in the sunshine complaining about how hot it is. I bet you even drink lager now. It's a shame.
