I find this ironic given that I was hit in a cross-walk in full sunlight.

That is so bogus! Is NH that dysfunctional? You have to move out of there to the countryside surrounded by woodlands and lovely O country with deer, and rabbits, and birds, and foxes, and bears and other neat critters.

Takes the piss just a little...

Do bears count as neat critters? I'm not so sure!

And yes, my dear friend who's name I can't even copy and paste, at least you can be happy in the knowledge that the location of your accident means it wasn't your fault. That makes it all okay, right?

30 years ago a lady driving a car clipped my handlebars with her mirror while I was riding a bike in Honolulu. It was a pretty dramatic accident. I went down and my bike went under the back wheels of a passing bus while I was still holding the handlebars, reading the writing on the bus tire as I was sliding by. I was later told I was lucky I hadn't been ticketed for having an unregistered bicycle!
