Discussion: Great Glen Ski and Snowshoe O is happening (Jan 16)

The Mt. Washington area received 10 inches of snow over the last two days! The Ski-O should be a superb event: Dense trail network, challenging route choices (will be reminiscent of 2010 US Middle Champs in VT). E punching, Start/Finish out the door from heated lodge.
Courses planned: Yellow (~ 4 k) Orange (~ 5.2 k) Red (6.9 k), Snowshoe (3,4 k) with groomed trail skiable distances (Y: 5, O: 9, R: 14, SS: 5).
Shortcuts on snowshoe or single track will be possible for route choices.
Today I will be on site to finalize courses.

Conditions are indeed great! I tracked several of the backcountry/snowshoe
trails to add as dotted trails to the mix because it was totally easy skiing
(with classical skis). Nice cover, smooth dense snow. Thin spots only
on the windblown edges in the field. Yes, come on up, and bring friends and
family.
