Interested in a hill course at Sessions? I have a tentative course for a Spring event with 6k and 325m of climb. You probably didn't realize Sessions was so hilly.

I'm always up for designing a course if you like, but I'm a bit too far to streamer it. Happy Birthday!

George, that sounds like fun! Sessions is easy to get to up the 8 too.

Thanks Ian - will certainly take you up on that at some time.

Great - when?

Whichever day of the weekend works best for you. Rob and I are going to have one fun O' day, but it doesn't matter which day. Thanks George!

Could do either day, though Lyn will be running the Snowstorm 10k on Saturday. Not sure if I'll be up to it by then. Must get the knees better.

Shall we go for Sunday then?

Charlie:
I could be interested in some Sunday Sessions.

Sounds like a plan is gelling. Excellent.

Change of plan unfortunately! Got to Sessions to streamer today to find a "Trails Closed" sign. They will be doing tree work along the main trails for about the next two weeks. So Sunday doesn't work there.

Any place else of interest?

Oh boo. Wherever is easiest for you I guess!

How about Stratton Brook?

I have never been there! So sounds good!

We'll have a run through and see how it looks.

I ran on the trails one day around Christmas. Seemed like quite a bit of deadfall.

Area looks good. Lot of work done so main trails are clear, minor ones less so but passable. Even found one brand new trail wandering up a reentrant that has been cleared and raked since the storm.

We're planning on the Fox/Hounds sprints and Score-O from April 2010. Didn't do the full circuit but the parts we did were all passable though a little slower. Just very very cold and we haven't gotten into winter mode yet. Fingers went numb. Wrong gloves again.

Anyone interested?

This is on Sunday? Maybe, if still no snow anywhere.

Ok. I'm in.

Unexpectedly, I am in too! Is it possible for me to look at the Score at turn it into a course George? I'm famously anti-Score courses :)

Becks:
Oh, and no need to worry about winter mode George, temperatures are back above average currently for Sunday anyways.

Sorry, this is a special rules fun Red/Green Score-O. Start with two sprints - Hounds, 1.9k and 15 controls; Fox, 2.3k 16 controls. Do in either order. Then the Score-O:
15 Red circles; 15 Green circles marked on map.
Must go to alternate control circle colors.
Control only counts once.
No points for 2 consecutive of same color.
60 minute time limit.
Scoring - 10 points per control.
Lose 10 points per minute overtime.

In honor of the day, perhaps we should put a B'day cake at one of the controls to make sure you do them all.

BTW - these are real sprints with win times of 12' and 13' respectively.

Becky, you can always take a pen to the start to plan a course, ignoring George's rules and 60 minute winning time...

Stratton is a small pocket park. This is a way to make it interesting. Can do something else if prefer, but people seem to enjoy the challenge on the day.
