Gps tracks for day 4 should be a lot of fun.

Hi Russell
Fantastic service with the uploads. I'm itching to upload my GPS and do the online post mortem.
Two glitchs I noticed but probably not worth fixing in the Splitalyzer for Day 4 Mens C (!). Stephen Cantwell is being credited with zero time (very fast) for the last 3 legs after not being recorded at the third last.
Mark Shingler didn't hear the beep on the last, so went back and punched again. Somehow the 8 seconds that took is being credited as his finish split.
Just for the record - the Splitalzer upload may need tweaking for future races if it doesn't take too much time.

O-ing,
I 'll try to fix Stephen's splits for Day 4 - had a bit of a drama with the Day 3 splits as the time format changed within each competitor record, so there may be glitches that I missed, and was glad today's appeared to go in so smoothly.

Splitalyzer is not a separate upload as far as I know - must just read the RG files on the server. What tweaks did you have in mind?

Changes made to Stephen & Shingo's splits for Day 4 on RG - AP splits appear OK

Oh. In that case Route Gadget might be the one that needs the tweak.
I'm just thinking that the elapsed time should have priority in the case where the splits for some reason don't add up as in these two cases

Routegadget Day 5 - Loops - at "Brush Creek" Edgeworth.

I have combined the A & B starts into one for each course, so that the animation can show the head-to-head racing. However this means that the splits and analysis built into Routegadget is not as usable because the A & B loops are not identified - not sure if there is any way I can do this in RG without making two separate courses which means it is much messier to show the animation

AP splits loaded, based on A or B grouping

Great stuff - now maybe the other attack pointers will "claim their splits" ( click the ? and enter SI number)

Days 1,2,3 and 5 loaded. Unfortunately Day 4's gpx has a glitch and comes into Routegadget as a straight line although it looks OK on AP.

Anyway, thanks Russell for loading all of this, and of course thanks to all involved in the Xmas 5 days for a technically sound and challenging event, with great and flexible organisation. After having missed most of the last Xmas 5 Days I'll definitely be back next year.

I should go to one of these sometime because our company closes over Christmas. It's probably the one time of year I don't take a holiday for sport though!

Next year will be a really good one - been to Beechworth?

Yes that's where the MTBO champs were this year. I've heard a rumour there may be a MTBO event held in conjunction. That'd be nice!

Yes there will be MTBO next year as well. The great thing about the 5 days is you get lots of intensive practice on consecutive days - a great way to iron out your mistakes and find new ones to make!
Thanks from me too for all the data Russell.
