Discussion: Annoying favor to ask

Don't bother with this unless it's easy.

I'm trying to find my dipper number for the sprint, as it was a good result for me. I saved my printouts entered my dipper number for the red and goat, but I overlooked the sprint, maybe it was not posted the day I entered my dipper number. Regardless, I don't have the printout and longer and it appears there's not way to ask attackpoint to cough up the number even though I did enter it for the red course. Can you see it on your end?

Also, I'll buy my own dipper next time we're doing an order -- let me know when that is. I'm not good at keeping records of all my printouts.

still unclaimed at 1328 hrs on Wed ... so I am opening this 10:48 on the sprint to the highest dibber .... no i mean bidder ... minimum opening bid $10 :- )

soooo...part of being ranked well is knowing when to claim and when to not....and convincing some reluctant others to claim their sub par performances to get five...looks like a system that encourages bribes......ha!...looks like my Minnigoat performance will fade into the background of a non event.........

Goodness! I always knew there was a ranking system but I had no idea how it worked. Still don't I guess, but it's still cool that it exists. How can you even feel good about it when there's no way to see how much you've improved over a given amount of time? I wonder if I left my 2nd place at possum trot unclaimed. Oh no!

I will say the geeks have run wild to calculate "time lost" "cruising speed" "% pace slower than cruise speed" and ranking points.....looks pretty accurate...

I have to laugh at how much time and effort went into the formulas and statistical analysis went in to all this stuff....only in O.....

maybe I should crank up some of my very powerful statistical software I have at work and do some statistcial analysis on this ( is this Normal or Poisson or exponential type distribution we are dealing with ?)

So, my only first place finish will never count, as I am the only one that ran that event.... :-( I had a really mediocre run too, deserving of my first place award.

And meanwhile I'm just hopeful that no one else will claim splits on the last Night-O. Or maybe the next Night-O too. =/
