Discussion: Late deadline extended

By way of observation rather than complaint I'll note that I am surprised at how much expectations have shifted in the last 18 months. I'm pretty much posting things on the schedule we've always used, but this go round I've certainly taken some heat for it. At any rate, things have been published slower than advertised, so I've been asked to extend the late registration a few days. Late fees will go into effect starting Saturday, October 8.

I have a round of fieldwork on the Relay venue today, then course notes and the coveted entry list will be published this evening.

I tried to register today but the registration website seems broken:

Server Error in '/' Application.

Validation of viewstate MAC failed. If this application is hosted by a Web Farm or cluster, ensure that configuration specifies the same validationKey and validation algorithm. AutoGenerate cannot be used in a cluster.

wow - thats a pretty impressive error message.

Seems to be working OK now. Nothing's been changed in the last couple weeks and we got a couple successful registrations today. If you keep having trouble, contact me directly and we'll work it out.
